CRESCENT SCHOOL OF PHARMACY

Crescent School of Pharmacy has been added as a new feather in the crown of B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute in the year 2017. CSP has been approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and AICTE, New Delhi. The School also received the recognition from the UGC, New Delhi for an annual intake of 60. The objective of the school is to provide quality education in the field of Pharmacy to the students of rural and urban areas.

The Pharmacy education is designed to ensure that the newly qualified pharmacists acquire necessary knowledge and skills to commence practicing competently in a variety of settings including pharmaceutical industry, hospital pharmacy and for the community as a whole. Continuing in the professional development must then be a lifelong commitment for every practicing pharmacist. Crescent School of Pharmacy is an Institute where the students are inspired, guided and trained to equip the best knowledge and the necessary skill sets.

Offering co-education, the institute is spread in a sprawling campus of amidst picturesque environs on Chennai – Trichy GST Road at Vandalur, Chennai 600048. Its savvy infrastructure, the state of-the-art laboratories and eminent teaching faculty are the exclusive strength of the School. The School has spacious laboratories (13 No’s each of 1200 sq. ft.) and well ventilated and furnished classrooms. High quality equipment for laboratories is also procured very ambitiously. The institute has a very good library with a great plethora of books and subscribes a good number of reputed journals (National and International). The staff members of the institute are well qualified and sufficiently experienced.

The students admitted in the School shall be motivated and cared by the highly qualified and experienced faculty. The students with the extraordinary skills shall be identified and encouraged to present their knowledge at various seminars/conferences. They are also guided to publish their research work in the reputed National and International journals. The students of the School will undergo compulsory internship in pharmaceutical industry and corporate and Govt. Hospitals.
